JUDITH VIENER Jewelery Artist

I moved to Florida from Washington, D.C in 1994. Two years later, while bicycling to work without wearing a helmet, I fell from my bicycle hitting the cement, and remained in a coma for 30 days. During my recuperation, I began to make eyeglass chains using beads. And, when I was ready, The State of Florida paid for my tuition and books to become a Middle School Science Teacher.

I attended courses at USF, both Tampa and St. Petersburg campuses. I taught for a short while, but returned to my beading. From eyeglass chains, I graduated to bracelets, earrings, and necklaces.

Glass Droplet Bead Wear was born!

Some of my past clients are:
The Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg, FL., and Watersister Dry Goods in Safety Harbor, FL. My favorite mediums are: agate, semi-precious stones, as well as mixing glass with metal.
