Shop local and buy handmade and support Tampa Bay artists at ARTpool. The show will run from 10am - 5pm. Setup for vendors is from 8am-10am the morning of the event. Two day vendors may leave there items but ARTpool is not liable or responsible for items left as it is up to the vendor and we do not hold personal insurance for individuals or their products. Vendors must bring their own table(s), chair, table cloth, all display items. When reserving a Full 10x10 space you are more then welcome to bring a 10x10 pop up tent. The show is outside, don't forget sunscreen. Shop local, shop indie, shop ARTpool! Spaces can not be shared, transferred, moved to another date, or refunded.
Calling all Trashion Fashion Designers! We want you to design for our 6th annual Trashion Fashion event featuring the most innovative and talented designers in the area. Create attire from at least 50%
recycled, unorthodox materials & captivate with avant garde, couture, editorial looks that are larger then life. All ages are welcome to design. It is free to participate in the show. Create 1 up to 10 looks for our runway fashion event. Email the gallery to get your name on our press release list as a contributing designer asap. Email us sketches of your designs and a material list by May 18th at 6pm to artpoolgallery@gmail.com to be a part of the fun! Veteran designers, DIY first timers as well as design teams are welcome! Over 4 years ago, ARTool Gallery opened it's first store front. Since then, we've grown into the indie art headquarters in the Grand Central Neighborhood and have our home base across from the historic Haslam's book store on Central Avenue and 20th Street. We'd expanded our gallery 10 fold and have over 7,500 sq/ft inside + a 4,000+ sq/ft outdoor space. Our beautiful retail showroom was designed by Archie Parrish in 1937 which was the original Moon Plumbing Supply Store. Throughout the past 75 years our location has been the home to Saint Petersburg's original Fred Astaire dance studio, a Polish restaurant, a church, & many other cool mom and pop businesses. We worked hard to create a special space that stayed true to it's original architectural design and refinished historic elements during our renovations including our unique art deco door handles. Swing by to experience our must see shop filled to the brim with amazing local artwork, jewelry, kitschy handmade indie items as well as a huge stock of vintage clothing, boots, hats, and treasures for guys and gals. Our retro home wares include funky vintage furniture, crates and crates of vinyl records, amazing gifts for your best of friends and lots of brilliant finds to treat yourself to. All items are unique, hand picked and professionally cleaned and ready to rock and roll in their new fabulous life. Some of our wild vintage clothing was purchased by the stars of Spring Breakers which was filmed in St Pete this year.
If that wasn't enough, brace yourself for our event space building which has a cool open feel and doubles as our open air market for Crafty Fest four times a year in March, June, September & December. We kept the industrial doors of its past creative auto designer & mechanics space which was JB Automotive for more then 20 years. Since December 1, 2011 ARTpool has called Central Avenue home. We are currently working on cultivating our outdoor space, garden courtyard and outside event space to make our ART pARTies, private events (including weddings, birthday parties and other celebrations,) super special, cool and hip in our industrial, modern and avant garde mecca artist compound. We can't wait to see you soon in the shop or at an event to experience our special blend of art, music and fashion.
